What companies need to know about De-Minimis
De-Minimis are financing aids that are committed to a company/group of affiliated companies over a period of three years and amount to a maximum total of EUR 300,000.00.
Simplified requirements and control mechanisms of the European Union apply to such financing if it is granted in accordance with the provisions and with explicit reference to the de minimis Regulation (state aid law basis).
In order to effectively verify compliance with the maximum amount, the applicant company is obliged to disclose all de minimis aid granted to it or the group of companies by Austrian funding agencies during the relevant period: De-Minimis subsidies that have been approved and applied for in parallel must be disclosed in full in the application, and any changes during the application review process must be reported immediately.
