The AT-C³ consortium combines the strengths of Austria’s leading semiconductor and innovation organizations.

By bringing together research institutions, technology experts, industry partners, and innovation networks, we create a collaborative ecosystem that supports innovation across the entire semiconductor value chain.

This unique combination of expertise enables companies to access world-class competencies in chip design, prototyping, manufacturing, advanced materials, photonics, quantum technologies, and Electronic & Software-Based Systems.

Each consortium partner provides specialized expertise in various technology areas to support the project’s study, coordination, mentoring, and ultimately its implementation, as well as financial management.

Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH

The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) is the largest non-university research organization in Austria, with nine locations nationwide. AIT focuses on applied infrastructure research and collaborates with both industry and European and national authorities on implementing their sovereign tasks. Its research program enhances AT-C³’s technological foundation.

Materials Center Leoben Forschung GmbH

The Materials Center Leoben (MCL) is an internationally active research institution specializing in materials, production, and processing engineering, as well as innovative material applications. We focus on metallic materials, ceramic materials, and their composites for reliable electronics. The MCL conducts collaborative research and development projects with industrial partners and provides a wide range of services.

The Polymer Competence Center Leoben (PCCL) has led collaborative research in polymer technology and science in Austria for over ten years. More than a hundred of our experts conduct R&D across various polymer applications, including automotive, aerospace, packaging, and solar energy.

SAL is thus shaping the high-tech location Austria and Europe and unfolding the future.

TU Graz is a leading technical university in Austria, renowned for its strong focus on engineering, natural sciences, and interdisciplinary research.
