AT-C³ at ITF World 2026: Networking, AI and Europe’s Semiconductor Future

More than 2,000 international technology and AI leaders gathered in Antwerp for ITF World 2026, organized by imec under the theme “Strategic paths to an AI-Defined Future.” Representing the AT-C³ community on site were Jiri Kaufhold and Elke Kraker, who joined numerous inspiring discussions and networking meetings with international stakeholders from the semiconductor and AI ecosystem.

The two-day event highlighted Europe’s growing momentum in microelectronics and artificial intelligence. High-level speakers from companies such as NVIDIA, ASML, TSMC and Mistral AI discussed the future of AI hardware, advanced semiconductor scaling and next-generation computing systems.

A major focus of Day 2 was the NanoIC pilot line, one of Europe’s flagship semiconductor initiatives. Hosted by imec, the workshop showcased innovations beyond the 2nm node and emphasized Europe’s ambition to strengthen technological sovereignty through collaboration, advanced chip design and semiconductor R&D.

For AT-C³, ITF World 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of international collaboration, knowledge exchange and strong European partnerships in shaping the future of microelectronics and AI.
